things that help a tiny bit
- imagining your heart is full of vibrant, blooming flowers, or stars, or a forest, rather than empty
- when you’re outside, notice things on purpose to smile about
- make up stories about strangers passing by
- when you’re speaking to someone: rather than overthinking about yourself, find traits that are beautiful about them and listen deeply to what they’re not saying
- be genuine, and if you feel like you’re genuinely cynical and negative, find ways to heal yourself and change your view on the world
Me and my fiancée have been together two years, and living together for a year and nine months, and we are getting married in less than a year. Today, we found out one of her family members had thought this whole time that we were just close friends- that I had moved 300 miles to find a job up here so we could share a house, and she was ‘happy we had maintained a friendship this long’. We even sent her a wedding invite, and she thought it was a friendship wedding.
We are the ultimate gal pals!friendship wedding???
i now pronounce you gal and pal
I’M DEAD
‘my love’ is easily the purest nickname you could have for someone, it’s so soft and kind and loving my heart feels something else hearing it tbh
